ACCIONA offers a range of innovative solutions designed to overcome the challenges associated with the treatment of water to provide safe potable water. The Water business division of ACCIONA has built over 100 drinking water plants, with a total capacity of more than 7 million m3/d, enough to satisfy the water requirements of nearly 26 million people every day.
Wastewater from either industrial facilities or sewage (urban water) can be treated through a series of processes that remove or reduce the physical, chemical and biological contaminants to achieve the quality and required effluent characteristics.

Design and Build Contract for a seawater desalination plant at the Jebel Ali Power & Water Station, located 35 kilometers southwest of Downtown Dubai. Its capacity of almost 200,000 m3/day makes it one of the largest in the UAE and the first large one in the Emirate.
EPC Contract. Its capacity of 210,000 m3/day makes it one of the largest desalination plants in the Eastern Province.
Design, Build and 7-year Operation & Maintenance (DBOM) Contract for a 137,000 m3/day seawater desalination plant at this Emirate for the enlargement of the IWPP Fujairah-1 desalination plant.
Awarded in 2015, this DBOM 10-year Contract represents a real milestone in the world of desalination for the short execution time and for being the first time that reverse osmosis technology on a large scale (165,000 m3/day) has been utilized in this Country.
Awarded in 2015, this DBOM 10-year Contract is the largest SWRO plant (285,000 m3/day) in this Country.
The contract includes Design, Build and Commissioning of the Al Jubail RO4 100,000 m3/day seawater desalination plant.
