Gabal El Asfar WWTP | ACCIONA | Business as unusual

The project includes the design, construction and commissioning of the WWTP as well as its operation and maintenance contract.

The plant has a treatment capacity of 500,000 m³ per day and serves the eastern part of the Egyptian capital, which has a population of around 2 million people. The Gabal Al Asfar complex is the largest wastewater treatment complex in Africa and the Middle East, and the third largest in the world.
