  • Global Leadership: It renews this certification in Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, the United States, Canada, Chile and South Africa, while obtaining it for the first time in Peru and the Philippines

ACCIONA has renewed its Top Employer certification in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, the United States, Canada, Chile and South Africa, and has obtained it for the first time in Peru and the Philippines. For the third consecutive year, ACCIONA has also achieved the Top Employers North America certification, endorsing it as one of the best employers on the continent.

The certificate awarded by the Top Employers Institute, a leading global organization in the recognition of excellence in human resources practices, is one of the most demanding and prestigious in the world in the field of corporate people management.

To obtain this accreditation, organizations are evaluated through the HR Best Practices Survey, which analyzes aspects related to twenty topics, including people strategy, the work environment, talent recruitment, training, promotion of employee well-being and diversity and inclusion, among others.

For more than thirty years, the Top Employers program has certified over 2,200 companies in 122 countries on the five continents. These companies have a positive impact on the lives of more than 9 million employees worldwide.

ACCIONA obtained the Top Employer Spain certificate for the first time in 2021 and since then has added new countries every year to this recognition, which acknowledges its leadership in human resources management in nine of its other main international markets.

POSITIVE EVOLUTION

The significant improvement in scores compared to last year demonstrates the ongoing efforts made to keep modernizing all practices related to Human Resources management at ACCIONA.

This year's survey reflected initiatives from some of the most relevant aspects of ACCIONA's People strategy. In key areas such as Diversity and Inclusion or Sustainability, the company has remained more than 10% above the average score of all global participants in the survey.

ACCIONA currently has more than 50,000 employees of 148 nationalities. The company has drawn up a global strategy called People, with the aim of putting people at its center through four key approaches: recognition of merit, diversity and inclusion, a transformative work environment and leadership.

People has been consolidated as a proposition of value for employees and is part of the company’s 2025 Sustainability Master Plan, as the first of its strategic principles, with the aim of investing in people to include and enhance the best diverse talent.
