ACCIONA has been honored with the Subcontractor Performance Award by QatarEnergy at the 2025 Major Projects & NFPS Annual Safety Summit.

This marks the third consecutive year that ACCIONA has received this prestigious recognition from QatarEnergy, having previously been awarded at the 2023 and 2024 Annual Safety Summits.

ACCIONA was selected for this award in recognition of its outstanding contributions to QatarEnergy projects in Safety, Quality, and Performance. The company’s consistent safety record and successful achievement of project milestones—without any serious injuries or incidents—were key factors in this recognition.

The North Field East (NFE) project has achieved 8 million safe man-hours, while the North Field South (NFS) project has recorded over 1 million man-hours without any Lost-Time Injuries (LTI) since its start.

This achievement reflects ACCIONA’s unwavering commitment to its clients, its proactive implementation of a strong Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) culture, and its pursuit of excellence in project execution. Since the inception of these projects, ACCIONA has set a benchmark for high health and safety standards, and this award is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of all involved.

Receiving this award for the third consecutive year highlights not only the exceptional collaboration within the ACCIONA team but also the collective efforts of all stakeholders, including QatarEnergy, CTJV, TEN, and all subcontractors.

The award was received on February 23, 2025, at Ras Laffan Industrial City (Qatar) by Mr. José Francisco García, Mr. Julio Hernández, Mr. Renjith Pulikkal, Mr. José Fernando Vázquez, and Mr. Prathap Brown during an event organized by QatarEnergy.

José Francisco García, Qatar EPC Director, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest Safety and Quality standards throughout project execution.

Julio Hernández Agüero, Project Director, emphasized that ACCIONA’s "One Team" approach plays a vital role in upholding the highest Health and Safety standards on-site.

Renjith Pulikkal, HSE Manager, highlighted the positive impact of the newly launched "Take Time to Take Care of Safety" campaign, which encourages employees to prioritize their own safety and that of their colleagues.
