Engineers Australia members visit new Harwood bridge

Engineers Australia recently visited the new bridge over the Clarence River at Harwood, which is a key part of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade.

Engineers Australia recently visited the new bridge over the Clarence River at Harwood, which is a key part of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade.

Thirty members from the Newcastle Division were hosted by key members of the project team. Attendees were provided with an overview of the project and taken on a site tour through the precast yard, road deck and out on the Clarence River to get a closer look at the marine work.

Engineers Australia is the largest and most diverse body of engineers in Australia, representing around 100,000 professionals at every level across all fields of practice. The Newcastle Division serves the engineering community from the Hawkesbury River, north to the Queensland border and west to Coonabarabran.
